Cycling in the Baltic Republics |
|
| |
The Baltic Republics comprised of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia are all very different countries. Latvia is flat and forested and the poorest of the three states. Primarily agricultural on a small individual scale.
Lithuania with its more gentle rolling plains and extensive forests. A young population with spectacular design flare, architecture and my favourite out of the three countries.
Estonia is the richest of the three countries and the center for Amber. The Baltic states have strived to gain their independence with many moving museum expressing their painful struggle for today's freedom.
