Cycling the Transylvania Highlights |
|
| |
A moving on road tour taking in the highlights of Transylvania and the Carpathian Mountains. Whilst Bucharest undergoes its post communist era transformation, the rural scene we pass through is still very much locked into 19th century tradition, with preserved medieval towns and villages where horse-drawn carts outnumber cars and tourists on cycles are a rarity. Romania is a living rural museum.
